Please register by March 15th for the next in person Caring for ME Leadership and Clinician Leadership Group Meeting.
The meeting will be Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 9A – 3 P at Senator Inn in the State Room, 284 Western Avenue, Augusta 04330. (Note the change of location) This is the biannual in person meeting of the C4ME Leadership Group and the fourth and final meeting of the Clinician Leadership Group. Gordon Smith, JD, Maine's Director of Opioid Response will discuss the State Opioid Response Plan. Dr. Vijay Amarendran, MD will present on Addressing Polysubstance use in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and the Recovery Process. We will also have a continued discussion around addressing stigma. We are delighted to have Dr. Katie Marvin from Stowe Family Medicine in Vermont who will present on Understanding the Hub and Spoke Model from the Clinician’s Point of View of a Spoke in Vermont. A panel will follow with local leaders on evolving models for MAT. The afternoon will also have a special discussion with Caring for ME Clinician Leaders participants to reflect on the 18-month program and discuss Leading from All Chairs on the Opioid Crisis.
